Contrasting her public image, Taylor Swift has been notorious for keeping her private and personal life secret. As such, her public profile, to this day, is more inclined towards posting cat and home photos. However, her current relationship with actor Joe Alwyn has been among her most serious yet remains much a secret for years and has been a main source of inspiration for a lot of her songs.

Not much is known about their relationship, unlike some of Swift’s other relationships. According to public knowledge, they have been together since 2016 when they attended that year’s Met Gala together, with even that being up to speculation. What can be said, however, is that Swift had used their relationship as inspiration for some of her songs, with Exile and Betty were allegedly written by Alwyn. As of 2020, however, they have been much more public about their affection and have made investments in keeping it that way.
