2.Kim Basinger

A usual face on made-for-TV movies, Kim Basinger has made a name for herself in that aspect since she started acting in 1976. She came into prominence when she was praised for her beauty and later appeared in the Bond movie, Never Say Never Again in 1983. Let’s just say that the late 1970s to 1980s were her two best decades.

One thing that Basinger is notorious for is listening to a piece of dubious advice from family members to buy an entire Georgia town for $20 million. She hoped to be able to turn it into a tourist spot by building a movie studio and later hosting a film festival. That plan did not materialize, and so she had to sell of chunks of the property. On top of all her troubles, lawyers for Boxing Helena, which she agreed to appear on, sued her for backing out. She then filed for bankruptcy, but he was able to recover financially and recently appeared in Fifty Shades Darker.
