4.Larry King

There is no doubt that Larry King was a legendary TV and radio host. We can just point to his many awards, including Ten Cable ACE Awards and two Peabody Awards. The journalist started his career in the 1950s and gained prominence in the 1970s onwards. From 1985 to 2010, King was the host of the nightly program Larry King Live, broadcast by CNN. After that, he moved on to Larry King Now, from 2012 to 2020, shortly after he joined the Creator.

During the start of his career, it was not all glamour for the king. He was actually arrested as he was accused of ripping off $5,000 from his then-business partner. Good thing his lawyer was able to work his magic and got the charges dropped. That set him back, though, and he had no job for four years, leading him to owe $350,000, which in turn caused him to file bankruptcy protection. All ended well as he was able to bounce back.
